Guru Nanak Foundation was established in 1965, to commemorate the 500th Birth Anniversary of Sri Guru Nanak Dev Ji in November, 1969. Guru Nanak Foundation Public Schools is the brain child of Panth Rattan Late Dr. Sardar Inderjit Singh, Founder Chairman of the School Management Committee and formerly President of Guru Nanak Foundation, New Delhi. It was due to his firm commitment to the cause of education, missionary zeal, benevolent-patronage and personal interest that our first school was launched on 14th April, 1993 in Patiala.

To carry forward his message of love, selfless service to society, promotion of social and moral values, Guru Nanak Foundation has entrusted the Presidentship of the Foundation on the shoulders of Sardar Tejbir Singh Ji, an able administrator, enthusiastic, progressive and worthy son of Panth Rattan Late Dr. Sardar Inderjit Singh. Under the dynamic chairmanship of Sardar Tejbir Singh Ji, all the schools are doing their best to accomplish the targets envisioned by the founder. Today Guru Nanak Foundation has three successful schools running in Patiala, Mohali and Jalandhar.

Excellence in Academics is the hallmark of any good institution & class XII results of the school prove without any doubt that our students have made us proud.

The school overall result is 100%.Out of 242 appeared, 64 students scored above 90%, with a highest score of 100 in Fine Arts, and 99 in Biology, English , music and Physical Education subjects.
Not breaking the traditions of GNFPS, Patiala, *Noorpreet Kaur from Medical stream* and *Piyush Kapoor from Commerce* has topped in the school by securing *96.8%*
*Anshika* and *Akshita Sharma* both from *Non-Medical Stream* and *Gurleen Kaur* from *Humanities* are the *second toppers* scoring *96.6%* while *Manvir Kaur* from *Non-Medical ,Arvinder Kaur from Medical , Bhavneet Singh and Arshbir Singh from Commerce scored 95.6 %*.
*Varinda Goel* from *Non-medical* and *Bhavika and Shagunpreet Kaur* from *Commerce* scored *95.4%* while *Akshita Saini* from *Humanities scored *95.4%*

*Ramanpreet Kaur* and *Ramanpreet Singh* both from *Humanities* scored *94.6%* while *Khushi Tukra* from *Medical Stream scored 93.8%*

CBSE Class X results that announced today, in which the students Guru Nanak Foundation Public School without any doubt have made us feel proud again.

The school overall result is 100%.Mankanwal Singh and Shubham Gupta scored highest in the school with 96%, followed by Pratham Singla who scored 95.4%. Four students Prabhsimar Singh, Ramanpreet Kaur, Harnoor Kaur and Anmol Kaur secured their third positions in the school by scoring 94.8%.

Out of 205 total appeared, 23 students scored above 90% while 28 scored above 80%
